Alycia Frampton, DVM
Dr. Alycia Frampton is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia. She earned her Master of Science in Chemistry from Villanova University before receiving her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following a rotating internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, she completed a residency in Small and Large Animal Anesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Veterinary Referral Associates, Dr. Frampton served on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, where she practiced clinical anesthesia, taught veterinary students and residents, and conducted clinical research.
Dr. Frampton enjoys all aspects of veterinary anesthesia, with particular interests in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, management of high-risk patients, and perioperative pain management. She is passionate about providing individualized anesthetic care that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.
Outside of work, Dr. Frampton enjoys running, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her Great Dane, Dunkin.
