Bridget Stewart, VMD, DACVIM (ONC)
Dr. Bridget Stewart earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Associates (VRA) in 2005. She then worked as an emergency clinician before becoming an Oncology Hospitalist with The Oncology Service (TOS) in Virginia. She completed her medical oncology residency with TOS and worked with them for over 12 years. She is very excited to be coming back to VRA.
Dr. Stewart has a special interest in personalized medicine, the human-animal bond, adaptive treatment protocols and in getting to know each family so that we can best tailor our treatment plans to meet your family’s goals.
Dr. Stewart is married to her college sweetheart, Eric, has 3 kids, and a menagerie of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, and turtles. Outside of work, she loves walking in the woods with her dogs, snowy days, reading biographies and historical fiction, and coaching soccer and field hockey.
