Paulina Lopez, DVM
Dr. Paulina Lopez earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She then returned to Texas A&M to complete a small animal rotating internship before joining Veterinary Referral Associates as a surgery specialty intern.
Dr. Lopez is passionate about patient advocacy, client education, and providing compassionate care throughout the surgical process. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and hopes to pursue a residency in small animal surgery.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Lopez enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring new places with her husband and their senior Border Collie, Jake. When at home, she can usually be found enjoying cuddle sessions with their two cats, Sashimi Potato and Beef Tookus.
